Summerhouse is a family project located in Marlborough, New Zealand. The aim, to capture the beautiful sense of summer in a bottle of wine, in the same way a surfer might travel the world chasing warm weather and the perfect break. The wines come from carefully selected vineyards that are scattered throughout the Marlborough region, all chosen for their unique terroir. One such vineyard can be found at Blind River, home to their Sauvignon Blanc and Pinot Gris where it is one of the driest sub regions in Marlborough but close to the sea, keeping the vines cool despite the relentless sun. Marlborough after all sees the most sunshine in New Zealand, making it the perfect place to capture that time of year Kiwis know and love. While perfect for a hot day on the beach, Summerhouse wines are also delicious mid-winter, when you just need a little taste of something to look forward to.
