Due to high demand we are currently out of stock
In Marlborough, Framingham is a winery that is doing things a little bit differently. With an emphasis on individuality and creativity, Framingham has a unique philosophy when it comes to their approach to wine making: ‘We just make wine that we ourselves want to drink’. It’s as simple as that, and for the wine drinker(enthusiast), it’s music to the ears. Framingham only uses fruit grown in the Wairau Valley and have had their Estate Vineyard Certified Organic through Biogro NZ. Known for their acclaimed Rieslings, Framingham produces a range of wines, from Pinot Noirs, to a beautiful Chardonnay as well as a signature Sauvignon Blanc.
However, it is the F-Series where we really get to see Framingham’s philosophy come to play. Made in strictly limited quantities, the F-Series is the winemakers’ playground, with complete freedom to experiment, allowing them to try different takes on more traditional wines. Beware though! The smaller batches mean there’s only a finite amount, so if there’s one you find intriguing be sure not to miss out.
A group of people who are as passionate about music as they are wine, Framingham hosts the Framingham Harvest Concert, where you can see their own band, Renwick Nudes perform. It’s at this concert where you will encounter their ‘Nobody’s Hero’ range. As described on their Sauvignon Blanc, the Nobody’s Hero is for ‘Those that celebrate their individuality, and are brave enough to express it’. They have also gone and converted an old wine cellar into what they call Framingham Underground. A place to host gigs and art exhibits, it is the perfect space for people to come and express themselves, just as their wines are expressions of the people who make them.
